About PMK International LLC

PMK International opened its doors in Seatac, Washington (between the ports of Seattle and Tacoma) in 2001 by founders Pat and Mary Kastner. In 2024, PMK was purchased by Paul Courtney and Virginia Weiler, who also own Courtney Agencies based in Vancouver, BC. The “sister” companies work in tandem to provide quality customs brokerage, freight forwarding, and trucking services for their domestic and international clients.
 
Our business model is “high-touch.”  Our customer-focused owners and solid team of experts tailor our services to meet your business needs.
 
Experienced in all aspects of the shipping process, our focus is on providing accurate Customs information and timely releases, fully compliant with regulations.

CTPAT

PMK International LLC is a certified member of the U.S. Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) program and has been since October 1, 2007.

It is our intent to work with our business partners as a team to improve our supply chain security practices.

We strongly recommend CTPAT certification for all eligible companies and require it of our partners. If your company is not eligible, we request that you still comply with the CTPAT security criteria.

In February 2026, PMK International LLC became a Certified B Corp. B Corps are for-profit organizations that meet specified standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose.

Our business is carbon neutral 

PMK International LLC is committed to offsetting all CO2 emissions from our operations and the shipments we arrange – making YOUR freight trips arranged through PMK carbon neutral too.

We consider this investment to be our contribution to the community and environment we serve.

The offsets for 2025 were purchased through Ostrom Climate which manages the Great Bear Rainforest Project. The GBRF was chosen because of its attention to its First Nations Partnership, Forest Conservation, and Coastal Ecosystems.
